Caramelized apple pie

For this perfect autumn inspired pie all you need is:

1kg of apples

3eggs

3 cups of flour

1 tbsp baking powder

1 cup sugar

125g butter

Directions

Mix the dry ingredients ( use only half of the sugar or less) and then add eggs and melted butter. Form a smooth dough. Let it rest in the fridge for half an hour.

Cut the dough into 2 pieces ( one bigger for the bottom and one smaller for the top) and roll it till it’s 0.5 – 1cm thin.

Clean the apples and cut then into little pieces. Make out of the sugar caramel ( heat the pan and let the sugar melt, after it’s melted put a little piece of butter in it) . Add the apples to the caramel and cover them with caramel. Let it cook for a few minutes. Transfer the apples to the baking pan with the crust. Cover the crust with apples and cover the apples with the smaller part of the dough . Bake it for additional 20-25min at 180° C

Sve što vam je potrebno za ovaj kolač jeste:

1kg jabuka

3 šolje brašna

3 jaja

1 čajna kašika praška za pecivo

1 šolja šećera

125g puter

Instrukcije:

U dubokoj posudi izmješajte suhe sastojke ( iskoristite pola šolje šećera) . Potom dodajte jaja i razmekšani puter. Umijesite sastojke u glatko tijesto. Tijesto pokrijte folijom i ostavite u frižider na pola sata. U međuvremenu ogulite jabuke i isjeckajte ih na kockice.

Tijesto odvijete na 2 dijela. Jedan veći za donji dio pite i jedan manji za gornji dio.

Tijesto oklagijom izvaljajte na debljinu od 0.5 do 1 cm.

U tavu istresite šećer i napravite karamelu ( zagrijte šećer kada se istopi dodajte kockicu putera, možete koristiti i više šećera ako želite) potom karameli dodajte jabuke. Jabuke pomiješajte sa karamelom i pecite do 5 minuta.

Jabuke istrezite na tijesto i poklopite tijestom ( onim manjim dijelom što ste odvojili) .

Pecite kolač oko 20-25 min na 180° C
